I ordered the cowboy boots on line,
the ones I always wanted as a child.
The ones that Mom said would make
me look like a hillbilly or white trash.
I planned to wear them with a tuxedo,
however, I couldn’t find a powder blue
one with a satin stripe up the leg and
a ruffled shirt. It seems that they don’t
make them anymore, however I do
have the hat from Halloween Express.
It’ll look pretty good with the boots
as we get together to celebrate your
birthday at Crestmont Country Club.

As usual Lorenzo you prove that you are a master of the regular life events that you turn into thoughtful and humorous poetry.
I appreciate your comments on "The Ordinary" and I totally agree that before the video games young boys were more creative and for us it reflected on our personalities growing up.
